I also feel challenged to do more for humanity through JCI. I look forward to a very busy and fruitful year full of learning and inspiration. My countries of assignment are varied and equally have different challenges, and I look forward to cultural exchanges and experiences sharing that create positive impact as I travel across. I have no doubt in my mind that at the end of 2011, as active citizens we will have reason to celebrate because of the achievements we will have recorded as a team. I will also be raising the Zimbabwe flag high wherever I go”.
Asked about any message to young people Victor said, “I encourage all forward looking young people to benefit from JCI’s unique development platform. JCI empowers young people to be effective individuals, to have a sense of social responsibility, to improve their business skills and to be globally networked. Through involvement in JCI activities, one has an opportunity to realize their full potential with a positive spirit. The world needs effective positive and active young people now more than ever, the world needs JCI today. I invite every non JCI young person to join JCI and experience how it feels to become better in measurable terms”.
A partner of the United Nations, AISEC and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), JCI has partnered the United Nations in the advancement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
